I was Born in 1976 in Angera, on Lake Maggiore, in the province of Varese. The Lake will always be within me, a profane homage to the roots and intimacy of nature.

Born into a rigid and formal middle-class family, inattentive to the needs of childhood, I grew up devouring every book possible, usually novels, but also Mickey Mouse, Dylan Dog, a few rare children’s books, and even the poetry I encountered on my grandmother’s shelves, an ancient anthology of love poems.

A way of seeing things born beyond the reality, I began to trust the invisible. Art peeks into history. I drew with pencils, crayons, markers and any other tool I can found, reproducing comics and images I found at home.

I studied pedagogy and psychology in high school and continued my studies in anthropology and philosophy at the University of Milan, with a particular passion for the philosophy of knowledge, how humans understand the world around them.

Meanwhile, I began to deface every object arounds me, sheets, paper, canvas, rags. In the early works my passion was color with a clear rejection of figurative art. This resulted is primitive, rough and abstract canvas, most of which installed in private homes.

I married and I had three children, saints and sacred, and I bought a house in Gorla Maggiore, in love with rural environment, Rugareto Forest, the Pinetina and the Olona Valley, a certain way of life that was still agricultural and primitive and the sunset that filled every days in the countryside.

I founded a social enterprise that cares for minors separated from their families; with whom I shared a sort of co-housing.

In the garden of the house, an old village carpentry, already dedicated to craftsmanship. Here a new adventure began: art was enriched with tools, resources and ideas that blend history, biography and studies in an eschatological continuum.

Painting becomes anthropology and anthropology reckons with phenomenology. And so art becomes reflection and prayer, a profane prayer.
